The successor Committee may wish to consider the Scottish Government’s policy approach to increasing active travel, the level of financial support and how this is distributed, and the legislative processes used to deliver active travel schemes, which date from the 1980’s and were recommended for review in the final reportof the Scottish Government’s Active Travel Taskforce, published in 2018.
