We will begin the transfer of approximately 300,000 awards of Personal Independence Payment in summer 2022. Our aim is to safely and securely complete case transfer for all people in Scotland in receipt of disability and carer benefits by the end of 2025.

Gender Recognition Reform (Scotland) Bill (G) Passed, 22 December 2022 Following an Order under section 35 of the Scotland Act 1998 made by the Secretary of State for Scotland, this Bill cannot be submitted for Royal Assent in its current form.
I can tell you that there are more arrestments than there were in 2022, but I cannot tell you whether that is more arrestments being served on the same person to try to find funds or whether it is more individuals being served bank arrestments—we simply do not have that data.
Stage 1 of the Bill was completed on 22 March 2022. 2. The Parliamentary Bureau is now invited to recommend to the Parliament that consideration of the Bill at Stage 2 be completed by Friday 20 May 2022.
