It is expected that the additional amendments will be tabled around mid-October 2025 and will include measures covering offensive weapons, child criminal exploitation prevention orders and online child sex abuse. Members discussed a number of the provisions in the Bill with the Cabinet Secretary including the proposals on future international agreements as they relate to information sharing for law enforcement purposes, cuckooing, the potential for further amendments to be lodged by the UK Government around child sexual abuse and exploitation online and the likelihood of further supplementary LCMs being required.
