I have been assured that the arrangement that has been reached with the Post Office will mean that there will be banking facilities for Clydesdale Bank customers through the Post Office network and that no one should be more than five miles away from a Clydesdale Bank, although I accept that that might vary from place to place.The Clydesdale Bank also assured me that it would normally seek to undertake visits to the individual businesses and companies that are customers of the bank, as well as having several flagship branches around Scotland where the bank can deliver a much wider range of services.

According to citizens advice bureaux, there are cases of the same person having three or four debts totalling more than £20,000 at the same bank. It is wrong for banks to allow people to have several debts with them.The banks seem to target existing debtors.
