We have upgraded our existing water service point and added another one at our own expense (we spent over £5,000) while the Scottish Government give money to not-for-profit organisations to create such facilities for free…we cannot compete!
I am happy to look into that and of course it is important that those principles are included in all the work that the Scottish Government does as well. The member is right to raise the issue of the climate emergency, because these severe weather events are being caused by climate change, and it is really important that everything that we do recognises that.
What incentive will there be to ensure that farmers deliver on what the Scottish Government is seeking in relation to improved food production, better climate action and so on?
