The conditions in the two halls that we visited are as bad as those in the halls that we visited at Barlinnie prison.It is worth talking about some of the statistics that we uncovered during our visit on the factors that lead to youth offending. The statistics date from 1997 and, although I do not like to read out a reel of statistics, they are important.
