Route characteristics Fund/Programme (a) SG National Funds, HIE decision • Pivotal Enterprise Resilience making, additional budget but funding Fund (PERF) – c£20m approved through another agency to 338 businesses. • Hardship Fund (light touch review by exception) - c£4.9m approved (b) HIE design & decision making, • Digital Enablement Grant existing HIE budget and additional Scheme - £2.2m of funding (of budget through HIE which £0.8m was from Scottish Government) supporting businesses to take advantage of digital technologies. c) SG National Funds, HIE decision • Supporting Communities Fund - making and new budget through HIE 210 awards supported 155 organisations with investment of c£3.5m. • Communities Recovery Fund - £1.4m funding to support 87 organisations. • Hotel Support Programme - £3.34m of sector-focused support awarded to 17 hotels in the region (HIE provided an additional £0.37m). • Scottish Wedding Industry Fund - £2.2m was awarded to 259 businesses in the region (additional £0.1m top up funding anticipated in 2021/22) • Island Green Recovery Programme – £0.45m approved to locally-led green projects designed to help support economic recovery in the islands. • Ski Sector Fund 1 & 2 - targeted at the snow sports centres that have been forced to close due to Level 4 restrictions, 8 awards totalling £3.7m supported centres in the region. pdf. application/pdf. 66229.
