Does she accept the need for Scottish Government policy to be more ambitious than the somewhat cautious approach of Westminster in delivering carbon capture and storage technology to any new power station that may be built? Has SEPA yet expressed a view on how it would ensure that such a facility was delivered to the highest possible environmental standards...
Given that that same proposal was rejected soundly by the Justice Committee in May this year, I entreat the cabinet secretary not to resubmit the order, since it is very unlikely to get through the committee or Parliament.
If I have understood the situation correctly, an order for payment would go no further if opposed, so I suppose that legal aid may not be needed. Can we clarify how that fits in?

At the least it would be helpful, given his previous involvement with the issue. He may have a different view now, having gone through the process and been bagged and dragged through the debate, so it would be helpful to have his views on the approaches to take.
