Members will include a GP, Consultant in Occupational Medicine, Consultant in Public Health, Consultant Occupational Physician, Consultant for Cancer and Palliative Care, Consultant Geriatrician, Neurologist, Occupational Therapist and academics.
Through the Scottish Funding Council we also fund the Reach programme, which supports students from low progression schools to study high demand university subjects including medicine. In support of our wider work on access, Scottish Government analysts have also established an Access Data Working Group.

The Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) proactively seeks submissions from manufacturers of medicines near to the time that licensing is expected in order that they can appraise the medicine quickly following licensing.
