Non implementation of Acts of the Scottish Parliament Children 1st 3 December 2024

However, we are deeply disappointed at the way this work has been stalled and deprioritised – particularly in light of the UNCRC (Incorporation) (Scotland) Act 2024. The changes contained in the Children (Scotland) Act 2020 would make an immediate, tangible difference to children’s rights in Scotland, in particular around children’s right to be listened to and taken seriously in matters that affect them.
