*S6M-06384 Edward Mountain: Nairn Synchro Wins the Mary Black Rosebowl in Aberdeen Event—That the Parliament commends Nairn Synchro for winning the Mary Black Rosebowl in Aberdeen in their first free routine competition in three years; recognises that the competition trophy is named after Mary Black, who is now 91, and who established synchronised swimming in Scotland in the 1970s; further recognises that, despite their small squad of only 14, Nairn Synchro amassed enough points to win the team competition, beating bigger teams from Edinburgh, North Ayrshire and Grangemouth, and wishes them further competition success in the future.
