Similar to its predecessor committee, the Committee continued to be contacted from time to time by employees of public sector bodies wishing to raise concerns about the financial management and governance of such bodies.
Background
The aim of these clauses is to:
introduce Equality Action Plans, setting out how to address gender pay gap issues and support employees going through the menopause
strengthen gender pay gap reporting to reflect outsourced workers.
The Danish Model involves the government, EROs and unions, although the government is only involved in tripartite negotiations on high-level matters like unemployment benefits, industrial injury insurance, and education. Employer and employee representative organisations negotiate salaries and working conditions through collective bargaining.
The Scottish Government estimates that this will involve three days of work for a Scottish Government employee, plus the postal costs for the publicity materials.
