To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will list the (a) size of population, (b) number of staff employed and (c) ratio of local authority employees to head of population in each local authority.
Refugee Action has stated that the campaign has “diminished levels of trust in our service” and reduced the take-up of the assisted voluntary return scheme. Of course, the language that was used in the campaign has, understandably, attracted most of the criticism.
Members throughout the chamber will recognise the benefits brought by the advice, advocacy and assistance provided by Age Scotland to older people across the country.
In view of the fact that the legislative programme is fairly light, as set out in the new programme for government, can we get an assurance from the Government that such delays will not occur in future?

(a) The Scottish Government commissioned a feasibility study of image assisted screening and the recommendation has been made that image assisted screening meets the quality requirements and should be introduced where it is cost effective.
