The other factor is that frameworks would have to be updated continually because of changing conditions—changing technology and changing risks from trade agreements—so some mechanism would have to be put in to make sure that the frameworks stay up to date. Although our response to the Brexit scenario to date has been a sort of Scottish agriculture PLC response, we are trying to get a much better understanding of the impacts on different sectors of agricultural industry of various potential tariffs as well as non-tariff barriers.
