To help reduce the rate and impact of unemployment across Scotland the Scottish Government has: Changed the rules for Training for Work so that people are now able to access tailored, job-related training at the three months stage of unemployment. Employees on notice of redundancy can access this vocational training during the 90 day notification period.

To ask the Scottish Executive how much has been paid from public funds for parking fines incurred by its employees since May 2007. The Scottish Government staff handbook makes it clear that staff incurring car parking fines for parking illegally whilst on official business will not be reimbursed from official funds.

The following table shows the number of people working full-time and part-time on 1 June 2007 by local authority area, and includes occupiers, spouses, family members, employees as well as casual and seasonal workers.
There is no other show in town. Custody is one of the i6 programme’s six elements and I am led to believe that if we do not go with i6 there is no plan B and we will continue to have the floppy disk problem to which Stevie Diamond referred.
