Domestic Abuse Bill - UK Legislation: The Cabinet Secretary for Justice (Humza Yousaf) moved S5M-19630—That the Parliament agrees that the relevant 142 Journal of the Scottish Parliament, Session 5, 12 May 2019 – 11 May 2020 provisions of the Domestic Abuse Bill, introduced in the House of Commons on 16 July 2019, relating to amendments to the law of Scotland concerning extra-territorial jurisdiction over certain offences committed outside the UK by a UK national or habitual resident of Scotland in order to ratify the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence, so far as these matters fall within the legislative competence of the Scottish Parliament and alter the executive competence of the Scottish Ministers, should be considered by the UK Parliament.
