In addition, the Scottish investment fund has offered a new means of support from 1 September for credit unions that are prepared to make a transformational step change in their activity. It is for the Parliament to support any such activity. Will the First Minister take the opportunity to commend the legislative assembly of Northern Ireland, which has now set up its own branch of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and is willing to co-operate with the Scottish Parliament in co-hosting visits from overseas delegates?

The First Minister and I had a minor disagreement last summer about the way in which he kept Opposition parties informed during the emergency services' work following the terrorist activity at Glasgow airport.
