Stage 2 Report on the Climate Change (Emissions Reduction Targets) (Scotland) Bill - Interim Targets and accounting for emissions
The Committee understands the CCC plans to undertake more detailed analysis of near-term emissions reductions for its advice on the UK sixth carbon budget in 2020.
The approach to accounting for emissions and the way in which emissions from peatland are calculated is currently being revised by the IPCC.
