Local Government and Communities Committee call for evidence on the Bill
Following the introduction of the Bill in the Parliament, the Local Government and Communities Committee issued a call for evidence on 8 September, with a closing date of 26 October 2017.

The two instruments implement Commission Directive (EU) 2015/1787 (amending Annexes II and III to Council Directive 98/83/EC on the quality of water intended for human consumption), which has a transposition deadline of 27 October 2017, the date that both instruments will come into force.

Central to ensuring course content is responsive to today's priorities for teaching children is ensuring content is regularly assessed through the accreditation process and through assessment of course delivery.
Parliamentary Consideration
The Social Security Committee ("the Committee") was appointed lead committee for consideration of the Bill. Table 1 lists key dates for parliamentary consideration of the Bill.
