Visitor Attractions (Visitor Numbers) To ask the First Minister what the Scottish Government’s response is to figures from the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions that show a 5.5 per cent increase in visitor numbers at attractions in Scotland in 2015. (S4F-03295) I am delighted at the latest figures from the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions, which show that Edinburgh castle is the most visited attraction in Scotland and that the National Museum of Scotland is the most visited free attraction in Scotland.

The conference welcomed Scotland’s leadership and highlighted the need for more collaborative working between Governments, NGOs, businesses and communities, and the Scottish Government will build on the excellent work being done by Scotland’s 2020 climate group to encourage and nurture these partnerships.
