To ask the Scottish Executive what specific funding has been given to local authorities as a result of the spending review and the budget to support implementation of Getting it Right for Every Child in Kinship and Foster Care.
The issue is extremely important—and increasingly so. It is vital that we get behind the Government's thinking, which I support in this context, and compare our approach in Scotland with approaches in other nations, so that we get a clear idea of how what we do benefits education and the economy.
Instead of having to hear about things from the UK Government or elsewhere, officials would flag up issues for you. Cabinet gets that. I am not high enough up the food chain.
