Although that legislation does extend to Scotland, the review report pointed out that this is only for the purposes of preventing publication in Scotland of information relating to offences in England and Wales.
Some groups are concerned about the potential increase in evictions. For example, Homeless Action Scotland recognises that social landlords have a right to evict tenants when they do not pay their rent.
