The review is an opportunity to consider the future of Scotland’s funding arrangements in the interests of fairness, accountability and sound governance.
As we go into the next phase of decision making, that will include looking carefully at which sectors of the economy and which businesses can—at the right time—be allowed to reopen, as long as they can do so safely.
We will continue to work hard to mitigate the impact of Westminster cuts and to build a system here in Scotland that protects people and is based on dignity and respect.
We hope that this report will shine a light on the very real crisis facing Scotland’s swimming pools and the need for Government action through investment and support to ensure access and availability for current and future generations. 2
