To ask the Scottish Government what its position is on a move to pre-primary school eye screening. NHSScotland provides comprehensive orthoptic, or orthoptic-led, pre-school vision screening at four-five years as recommended in Health for all children 4: Guidance on Implementation in Scotland.
On the SVRP, I am keen that we can move ahead with procurement. Under the pre-election guidance, we are not allowed to make any announcement on that programme, and we do not anticipate such an announcement, before the end of the pre-election period.
There was already conflict in June, during the pre-COP negotiations in Bonn, because some countries in the global south proposed a target of between $1 trillion and $1.3 trillion of climate finance being provided annually as part of the new collective quantified goal, whereas countries in the global north did not mention any target whatsoever during the neg...
