As I said in the Chamber, during the debate on 8 January, I am encouraged by the range of feedback and views, because this demonstrates the NPF’s value as a means for all of Scotland’s actors and agencies to debate and to challenge the collective progress that we are making as a nation.
This enables members of the public to better understand the work being delivered for the people of Scotland through the Civil Service. In addition, our In the Service of Scotland (ITSOS) framework sets out our organisational mission, vision and values.
We have received national recognition as an award-winning family friendly employer by Family Friendly Working Scotland, Working Families UK and Carers Scotland.
Of greatest significance clearly is our collaborative approach to the delivery of the National Strategy for Economic Transformation (NSET), published 9 March 2022, which sets out our vision for transforming Scotland’s economy over a ten-year period, and for creating the skilled workforce that Scotland will need.
The Citizen’s Panel was made-up of 16 individuals from across Scotland, with the over-representation of individuals from groups most at risk of poverty.
We have an ongoing and unwavering commitment to land reform, and aim to bring forward a new Land Reform Bill by the end of 2023. We will launch a wide-ranging public consultation later this year on proposals for the Bill.
