If 12 people have been defrauded of £1 million on the same day and they make claims to the Law Society at the same time, they should get their money back; they should not have to wait until next year when we get round to it.
The message is that if somebody wants to represent people in court, they should get qualified to do so. We could suggest to the petitioner that they get involved in the consultation on the Scottish Law Commission's eighth programme of law reform, which runs from 2010 to 2014.
Today, the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth, John Swinney, is meeting with the Treasury, standing up for Scotland and trying to ensure that we get the best possible deal out of the financial settlement.
