Local child poverty action reports Under the Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017 local authorities and health boards have a duty to produce annual Local Child Poverty Action Reports (LCPARs) highlighting what they have done and what they plan to do in the coming 12 months to address child poverty.

Part 2: Children's services planning
Part 2 of the Bill amends existing provisions in Part 3 of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014 (the 2014 Act) on the planning of children's services.
In February 2025 the provisions in the Housing (Cladding Remediation) (Scotland) Bill came into force, and the Scottish Government subsequently published a plan of action for accelerating the pace of progress towards removing or making safe flammable cladding on buildings.

Section 4 - Fixed penalties
