The Scottish Government is developing a framework to support disabled children, young people and their families, so they get the right support, at the right time and in the right way from birth to adulthood.
I accept that one swallow does not make a summer and one set of statistics does not make a recovery; we need a run of statistics, such as the six-month fall in unemployment in Scotland, which will be welcomed across the chamber.
The bill will also facilitate processes for changes to be made to social housing tenancy agreements to help victims stay in their own homes by giving powers to remove perpetrators from tenancy agreements.
We will be discussing how we can use the allocated funding of up to £1 million to develop solutions that are right for communities throughout Scotland.
Local Authorities (Funding) To ask the Scottish Government how it will ensure fair and adequate funding for all of Scotland’s local authorities. (S5O-01587) The 2018-19 draft budget will continue to treat local government fairly, despite the cuts to the Scottish budget from the United Kingdom Government.
