Following up the recommendation from the Committee’s report on human rights and the Scottish Parliament, Getting Rights Right, the Convener wrote to the Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee on 6 September 2019 to ask it to amend Standing Orders to permanently extend the remit of the Committee to include human rights.
