We inherited 17 complaints from the former boards and police authorities. Of those 17 complaints, to date we have closed down four, with a further three awaiting consideration at the next complaints and conduct committee.
Many small companies in Scotland have perhaps not had that opportunity to date, but it may open doors for them as well if we use local communities to support us in that activity.
The website also links to the local authority plan.We have agreed with Highland Council diary dates for September and October for the ward forums, which are well established in the Highland area.

We wanted to produce two separate pipelines because there was a desire to put out much more detailed information about individual projects in order to inform the market when to expect projects to be advertised, when the construction start dates might be and when the projects would be operational.
As part of that service, there is a skills alert function, through which Skills Development Scotland can get better and more accurate and up-to-date information and can take the pulse of business, as it were.
I think that that has given us a degree of credibility that has not been shared in other parts of the United Kingdom.I will give a practical example. In Scotland, at a very early date, we were faced with complaints about councillors that really related to their conduct in private life.
I will look into the matter.What would happen if a local authority retrospectively discovered that it had common good land or some common good assets? Registers are not always up to date and people do not always have access to the records that they should have.
