I am not sure why that has generated laughter from Ms Grahame, but it is a fact.Children are often cared for by members of their family other than their parents, who need recourse to foster carers. I recently hosted a reception for fosterers in the Borders and had the pleasure of speaking to foster parents about their experiences and needs.
