Since leaving the EU, the GB Plant Health Service (Defra, Scottish Government and Welsh Government) has developed domestic plant health risks based on the threat that these commodities pose to GB/Scotland. This involves a new risk-based target inspection regime that will apply to certain plants, plant products and other objects from both the EU and Rest Scottish Ministers, special advisers and the Permanent Secretary are covered by the terms of the Lobbying (Scotland) Act 2016.
