S5W-01283 Michael Russell: To ask the Scottish Government whether it will take urgent steps to secure the continuation of SQF Level 5 and 6 courses funded under the Developing Scotland's Workforce programme.
On top of that, we have provided £250,000 over three years to fund trauma specialists to develop a framework for training staff to create a more trauma-informed and trauma-responsive justice system.
We managed to talk to more than half of the workforce to get their thoughts, feelings and views about how we should implement and develop the clinical model.
Last week, Jim Walker talked about the suckler carbon efficiency programme, which was developed, funded and costed. There has been no progress on that, but it is now being adopted in Ireland.

Some respondents raised questions about funding for the development of shared health and social care records.
We believe that that is the right measure, and we will take it forward in a fully funded way with local government. It will be part of the budget process for 2024-25.
As recommended by the task force, the group will develop a workforce action plan, which will set out the longer-term actions required to deliver a sustainable skilled workforce that is valued for its work.
Two core areas have come up today. One is about the funds that are spent on international development—whether it is the international developmentfund, the climate justice fund or the small grants fund, which has been lost—and the other is the issue of the need for a more cross-cutting approach across Government policy.
