That has caused some concern among my constituents in Perth and the surrounding area. For example, one parent contacted me with an horrendous tale about his teenage daughter who was taken to Perth in an emergency situation and had to wait for a paediatric nurse to be sent in a taxi from Ninewells hospital to provide treatment.

As members can see from the papers, a constituent has contacted me on this issue. I understand the Executive's position and that it does not want to deal with the matter through primary legislation, but I do not think that its response outlined how it would encourage the use of complementary medicine in a mainstream way in the NHS.

Today's Scottish Daily Express contains claims that prisoners at Peterhead are planning to open a toy shop after their release, that one particularly dangerous paedophile, Francis Currens, made a video of pregnant women and of children while he was in Peterhead, and that those men are in contact with other perverts in the outside world.

I wonder whether we could agree to send a short message to Mr Chhokar this Sunday, when there will be a memorial service and a wreath will be laid at the site of the murder. Given our contact with the Chhokar family over the past year, I think that it would be appropriate for us to send a wee message of support and solidarity.
