I am not saying that I support this petition, but I think that we owe it to the petitioner to ask for evidence from organisations, including—as Sandra White correctly pointed out—the Scottish Government, to justify the use of international aid, explain how that aid is being used and highlight the benefits of the Parliament and Government’s international commitments. When we get that initial evidence, we can discuss where we will go from there.
