Teacher Workforce Planning for Scotland's Schools - Factors influencing the retention and promotion of classroom teachers
The Committee intends to issue a survey to all teachers through education authorities. The intention of this is to get a clearer indication of the extent of the issue with retention by asking all teachers in state schools whether they intend to leave the profession early, and if so, to what timescale.
