Secondly, it believed that there was scope for the Executive to demonstrate greater ambition in the promotion of Scotland.The committee welcomed the progress that the Scottish Executive has made, especially the development of the international strategy, but recommended that the strategy be reviewed after general consultation and that a revised strategy be published before the summer recess.
