Supported by: Miles Briggs*, Iain Gray*, Edward Mountain*, Bill Kidd*, David Torrance* *S5M-15420 Liam Kerr: Quayside Restaurant and Fish Bar That the Parliament congratulates — the Quayside Restaurant and Fish Bar, which is in Gourdon, Montrose, on being shortlisted in the Best Seafood Week Campaign and the Best Fish and Chip Restaurant categories at the National Fish and Chip Awards 2019; understands that the seafood week is an annual event that is coordinated by the industry authority, Seafish, which encourages consumers to eat fish more often and provides what it sees as a flexible platform for businesses and organisations to promote the fantastic variety of fish and shellfish that are available; notes that the Quayside s campaign ’ saw it issue children from Gourdon, Inverbervie and Lathallan with a voucher to redeem a free fish and chips; recognises that to be shortlisted in the best campaign category, it was assessed against a wide variety of judging criteria that focused strongly on its marketing objectives and promotional tactics and the efforts of its staff market; acknowledges that the awards will present in London in January 2019, and wishes the Quayside every success for the evening and with its business.
