If a tenant does not leave at the end of the notice period, the landlord would need to get an eviction order from the Tribunal before they can get their property back.
This Parliament should primarily bear the risk of its own taxation decision; in other words, if it cuts the tax it gets less money, and if it increases the tax, it gets more.
We still want to press for progress on that, at some point. Our idea of timescales is getting a bit clearer. We see it as something that should be put in place sooner rather than later, in order that we can get the benefits.
