To ask the Scottish Executive whether it is aware of (a) how many people claimed for and (b) how much was claimed in tax relief for expenditure on furnished holiday letting properties in each of the last five years.
Item 1 is a decision on whether to take in private item 3, on guidance on exceptional circumstances in relation to the cut-off date for the introduction of members' bills.

To ask the Scottish Government how long it took Healthcare Improvement Scotland, from the date of the inspection, to publish its announced inspection reports on care for older people in acute hospitals, broken down by NHS board.
That gives the company a cash flow, which makes it more creditworthy in the bank’s eyes. Therefore, between the company’s own resources and bank lending, opening up the site becomes much more economic.
Ultimately, the underlying cause of the crisis is political failure—the failure over decades to address the occupation of the west bank, the on-going settlement policy, the continued sanctions and the blockade of the territory.
In the past 10 years or so, I have visited many refugee camps, including in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and the West Bank. However, the jungle in Calais is among the worst that I have been to.
