R S5W-18421 Daniel Johnson: To ask the Scottish Government, further to the answer to question S5W-17620 by Jeane Freeman on 23 August 2018, how calls are coded for the purposes of prioritisation.
The petition, which was lodged by Ellie Stirling, calls on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to review the code of practice under the Wildlife and Natural Environment (Scotland) Act 2011 and to identify measures that could be introduced to control the soaring domestic cat population and protect the existence of the Scottish wildcat.
Of course, that will be done within the bounds of the decent standards of politicians and the ministerial code of conduct. Glasgow airport is in my constituency and resources will be allocated as appropriate rather than the airport being given preferential treatment because the Cabinet Secretary for Finance, Economy and Fair Work represents the area.
I would like to know a little more about how the recusal code or policy works. When a conflict of interest is declared, how much detail is recorded and is it in the public domain?
