He went on to note that "the extension of Interim Compulsory Supervision Orders to 44 not 22 days is also welcome," suggesting that "there will be flexibility within the 44 days to continue to specific Court or hearing dates," and that "it is right that an Interim Compulsory Supervision Order should be reviewed anyway if nothing is to happen or has happened at Court or the Hearing for as long as 44 days," observing that "there would be merit in including a specific provision that an Interim Compulsory Supervision Order can be continued to the next Hearing or court date so as to avoid unnecessary callings or Hearings simply to continue Interim Supervision Orders."
