Specifically on the matter of illicit sales online, the Cabinet Secretary clarified that online sales are subject to the same regulations as high street sales.
The proposed amendments also reflect the increasing use of generative AI and other technologies, and aim to 8 address concerns raised by Police Scotland and online safety campaigners to deter and criminalise all forms of online CSAE.
