Likewise, as we decarbonise transport, which accounts for 25 per cent of our energy use, and heat, which accounts for around 50 per cent of our energy use, we can have sufficient renewable energy generation to meet that need.
I recognise that the MAT standards include reporting mechanisms; however, we need robust monitoring of implementation, and clarity over where accountability lies. There are changes that we can introduce in order to demonstrate accountability.
