I want to ask you about a letter from National Grid to Ofgem dated May 2016. It states: “For the purposes of Black Start, the country is split into six zones.”

It was interesting to hear Paul McLennan’s speech, as a big discussion is happening in the Lothians about the potential for the Berwick Bank wind farm to bring in lots of new electricity.
To be fair to them, the committee has issued an invitation to them and we are in negotiations about a date. They are not here today because it did not suit their diaries, for balance.
The committee might want to consider the harmonising of dates. Every registrant has a different date, which is the earlier of when they registered or when they first lobbied.
