The final Ferries Plan, due to be published before the end of the year, will set out the Scottish Government's plans for the future of ferry services across Scotland until 2022. S4W-11464
The Final Ferries Plan will provide details of future investment and of how we will ensure that funding priorities can be met over the period of the Ferries Plan to 2022. The completed Final Ferries Plan will be published later this year.

To ask the Scottish Executive whether it will continue to call the Scottish Investment Bank a bank if it is unable to secure external sources of funding.
I, too, welcome the £1 billion guarantee facility to support bank lending to small and medium-sized enterprises and the separate £1 billion guarantee to support bank lending to small exporters.
First, it is interesting that the staff who are employed by the council are all seconded, some from the central bank. Secondly, the council was at pains to talk about how it recorded everything for freedom of information purposes.
The cabinet secretary will be aware of mobile banks, mobile libraries, mobile breast-screening units and mobile magnetic resonance imaging scanning units, all of which can be moved by road to appropriate destinations.
The First Minister has already had the United Kingdom chancellor and the former Bank of England experts, Professor Charles Nolan and John Nugée, telling him that it would be unbelievably difficult to secure his preferred choice of a sterling zone.
