Food Compositional Standards and Labelling Framework
The Scottish Government set out its view that, although we are not in the same situation as Northern Ireland, we are pretty keen to remain aligned with EU law where such alignment is appropriate and in Scotland’s best interests. That is the reason for the potential in the framework to enable policy divergence between the four nations.
