If we have a large amount of work to do, however, we will need to think about that carefully.On the wider matter of dealing with the European dimension, under the pilot scheme that was started in the previous session—rather too late to be effective—a member of each of the subject committees was identified to deal with the European and External Relations Committee, so that such liaison would take place. It will be interesting to hear what the convener of the European and External Relations Committee says about carrying on that pilot and how the liaison will work with each of the different committees, but it is vital for us to know about that early on.
