The purpose of the exercise was to exclude from the human food chain all horses that contained illegal residues, and the comprehensive approach that we took provided the best way of doing that. I seek clarification of regulation 17, on restrictions on the movement of horses without passports.

We will provide comprehensive guidance, encourage the use of standard templates for environmental assessment, capacity build and undertake a case-tracking project to reduce costs without reducing quality in order to achieve the benefits of the bill with best efficiency.
