Most recently, in February of this year, we held a round table informal evidence gathering session with 12 victim-survivors of rape and sexual assault (facilitated and supported by experts from Rape Crisis Scotland). This gave victim-survivors the opportunity to give first hand testimony of their experiences of forensic medical examination, in order to help inform our consideration of the Forensic Medical Services (Victims of Sexual Offences) (Scotland) Bill.
